  • MeeTimer – Log your time on the Web – MeeTimer has a simple role: it records where you spend your time online.
It does it in a rather useful way, by allowing you to group websites into activities (e.g. Facebook = procrastination; Gmail = communication) so you can make sense of where your time is going. Finally, it accumulates time spent on a site over the course of a day, so when you think "just another 2 mins won't hurt" you realise that actually, yes, it will ;)

  • Impressive – Impressive is a program that displays presentation slides. But unlike OpenOffice.org Impress or other similar applications, it does so with style. Smooth alpha-blended slide transitions are provided for the sake of eye candy, but in addition to this, Impressive offers some unique tools that are really useful for presentations. Read below if you want to know more about these features.

Creating presentations for Impressive is very simple: You just need to export a PDF file from your presentation software. This means that you can create slides in the application of your choice and use Impressive for displaying them. If your application does not support PDF output, you can alternatively use a set of pre-rendered image files – or you use Impressive to make a slideshow with your favorite photos.

  • JQS5 – jQuery Simple Standards-Based Slide Show System – This is a very simple jQuery + Javascript Slide Show engine. It can turn the most basic document, such as this one, into a slideshow.

The concept is based on S5 which is a wonderful HTML slideshow engine. S5, however, requires you to add more markup than I care to worry about. JQS5 doesn't require any special markup to your document. Just add in the header and you're set!

  • Tools, Tricks, and Resources for Boosting Productivity with Firefox | Three Styles – Digital workers are highly fortunate. We’re able to work from wherever we want, whenever we want, and control work entirely on our own terms. Of course, most of us have clients to please, deadlines to meet, and projects to work on, but outside the specifications of our career, we’re tied to relatively few guidelines and requirements.

It also includes an automatic conversion of video files to the Flash format using FFMPEG technology.

    Use this module if you…

    * Wish to link as many videos as you like to a node.
    * Would like a built in automatic Flash conversion.
